The Keepers' Project

The Power Of Community
Since our inception, we have provided children with access to more than ten hands-on workshops and training sessions in collaboration with various organizations across Belize. Through these programs, many of our young girls have earned certifications as nail technicians, seamstresses, and culinary artists, equipping them with valuable skills for a brighter future.
Our commitment to education goes even further—we proudly grant tuition scholarships to more than 75% of our high school students each year, ensuring that financial barriers do not stand in the way of their success. Women in our community also benefit from our ongoing workshops, fostering personal and professional growth.
We stay actively engaged with our community by hosting at least one event every month, creating opportunities for learning, connection, and development. But we’re not stopping here. The next five years will see The Keepers Project expanding nationally, with a goal to establish partnerships with schools across every district in Belize. We’re also working toward bringing our programs online and securing a dedicated headquarters to better serve our growing community.

We Are The Keepers
Led by three dedicated community members—with a combined 40 plus years of deep-rooted experience in the village—our mission has always been to uplift and empower the next generation. At The Keepers' Project, we believe in shaping futures, building skills, and creating lasting impact—one child, one family, and one community at a time.

Sherett
FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
A proud native of Maskall Village, Sherett has dedicated her life to serving the community in various roles. This includes being a female football coach and educator at the primary school for over 15 years.

Ava
ADMIN ASSISTANT AND LEADER
Ava dedicated her life, from preteen to present helping the youths reach their highest potential and beyond. She proudly presents as an Assistant Coach, leader, mentor, and, most importantly, a helping hand.

Ammon
DIRECTOR & PROGRAM MANAGER
Born and raised in Maskall Village, Ammon has dedicated his life to serving the community in different roles, including as a village council chairman and football coach for both female and male teams.

I support The Keepers Project 100% and I encourage any parent to give it a try. You'll never know what impact it can have on your child. My son has evolved in ways I cannot begin to quantify and I am thankful for his growth.

We Do What We Can But We Could Use Your Help!

As a small village, we do what we can with what we have. We rehabilitated our community park by building new benches and tables as well as installing solar lights. We also painted different things in the park and planted trees.
We pour ourselves into our community. Once we stopped waiting around for help to come to our village, our children slowly but surely began to thrive. We have made so much progress because our neighbors trusted us with this vision.
